The COCO fertiliser line, made distinctive by the colour brown, was developed for plants growing in coco substrate. Coco substrate is able to form compounds with nutrient elements, as a result of which these elements are no longer freely available for absorption by the plant. The COCO line consists of a buffered substrate, COCO and an unbuffered substrate, COGr. The latter requires somewhat more effort from the grower because it still needs to be buffered. Both growing methods require specific nutrients to stimulate the development of the plant.

Our enhanced coconut matter involves the addition of special elements for rapid growth and guarantees that the coconut matter has not been steamed or treated with methyl bromide, therefore retaining the special Trichoderma mould. Trichoderma is a natural plant booster and is scientifically proven to protect the plant against soil diseases. In fact most coconut matter is not suitable for horticultural use at all. It can contain high levels of sea salt and other damaging impurities. CANNA COCO on the other hand is certified for horticultural use according to strict RHP standards.
